 Election Day - massively important

So if you are not aware yet, tomorrow, Tuesday the 26th, is primary election day. I hope everyone will be casting their vote.
Of critical importance, I want to speak briefly about Amendment 2 - the so-called Marriage Protection Amendment - that will be up for vote tomorrow. If you have not heard of it before, this amendment to the Florida Constitution will outlaw same-sex marriage and rights for same-sex partners (or any other sort of non-traditional couples) if it passes. I would like to see that it fails, utterly.
Now I believe I am preaching to the choir here, as I know we have a large group of very intelligent, educated, and clear-headed individuals. Of which I am most appreciative of, and am well blessed. But if there is any doubt, know that this piece of legislation is steeped in fear and hate. If it is allowed to pass, thousands and thousands more will be hurt, towards no legitimate or constitutional political gain, towards no benefit for the people of Florida. If it fails, no one will be hurt, but many will be happy.
As stated before, I am a Christian. And I am sickened by the acts and words of so many churches. They seem to have forgotten that God is Love. And our government has forgotten what Separation of Church and State is supposed to mean.
Often times the true weight of matters is lost when described so broadly, so I will bring this down to home. My home. I hope to meet a good man someday. I hope to eventual marry. I have dreamed of it for a long time. If this amendment passes though, my dreams will be shattered. Please, vote no, for me if nothing else.
It costs nothing to vote, but it will cost a lot if we do not vote.

The most probable reason why this is going to get pasted without your votes is because of the extension at the very end, saying that it prevents against multiple spouses.
As a whole the amendment needs to be denied, however because of where most debaters are hitting on the subjects, in all likelihood, it's going to get pasted. Please be kind enough to keep this from happening.
The whole amendment is another way for homosexuality supremacists to try and keep the inevitable acceptance stage out of public eye. It's like the laws against blacks that the country tried a long time ago.

So, if you have or are going to vote today, you may have noticed that Amendment 2 is not on the ballet. I was quite surprised.
My theory, as I have not seen a reason yet, but I suspect the writers of the amendment decided to postpone sending it to vote due to the strong opposition against it. That would make sense. But I do not know the reason for sure.
What I do know is that the amendment has been postponed until the November 4th ballet. So while I am shooting the amendment in the head, I will also be voting for Obama. I hope you will too.

Amendment 2, I think, was pulled from this electoral state and moved to the Presidential Electoral state or it was shot down as being unconstitutional.
As least these were the things I heard Bible thumpers talking about while I was at work.

I actually got to vote for or against ammendment 2. I did vote against it, btw. I have an acquaintance that was sold on some other propoganda about it though. She didn't want to open the doors for men marrying dogs, or something like that. I kinda wanted to slap her.
