 New Times Photo Project Information

Okay all,
I've talked to Colby from the New Times, and she sent me more information about how she would like to do the photo project for the paper. It's not manditory, and I know some of you were leery about doing the project, but it looks like it could be fun. I'll even sweeten the deal a bit--for everyone who participates (dressing up and doing the photoshoot) you get 5xp.
Here is the information she sent me regarding the project:
Hi Ashley,
So sorry for the delay in writing you back!!!! I've just been overloaded with assignments that last few days.
As I mentioned on the phone, this is going to be a photo essay. It'll be different then the typical New Times cover story in that there will be very minimal writing and no reporter will be coming to interview any of the subjects. I would like to do the portraits at different forests / parks / wooded areas. I think that setting would fit well. We can do them in the day or night. I am very flexible and can meet any interested participants around their schedule. The average shoot will last no more then an hour. Sometimes it's much shorter but I do need time to set up lights. Also, everyone who participates will get a print.
If there are any additional questions that you have, please don't hesitate to ask.

If you are interested in doing the project, then please leave a post on this thread. I will be letting her know how many likely participants we will have by the end of the week.
Keep in mind, if you are doing this, you just need to dress up. It doesn't have to be your exact character from Burning Blood, it can be just about any costume you like. All Colby wants is real people in costume in some setting other than a studio.
Also, DJ and I will ask for copies of the prints from the shoot so we can post them on the site for everyone to see.

Okay guys. I'll give Colby the go ahead to start, and work something out with her as to when. DJ and I are thinking that one night down at Riverwalk might be good, it's cool out, and it has a lot of different scenery that could be used for the shots all within walking distance. If anyone has another idea, that would be good too. We also want to so some shots at Tate's, since they've been cool about letting us play there.
Any more suggestions?

For those of you who were around/might remember Colby was the woman who came by during my game and interview people for a story for New Times about the LARP... She is really very cool.
She is also one of Tate and his wife's best friends so make sure you don't say anything bad about the store (not that you would) cause it will get back to them! 
If you don't want to travel far there is a cool dog park on McNab and the other bigger park on the coner of McNab and 81st...

Okay all,
Colby is coming next Saturday, December 20, 2008. If you wish to be involved in this photo project for the New Times, you must be at Tate's around 9:00-9:30pm. WE WILL BE THERE ON TIME. She would like to meet people who are interested, and those who are, we are going to put a contact list together for her. PLEASE make sure you are on time if you wish to be involved in the project.
She is NOT doing the photo project that Saturday, she only wants to meet people and find out who all is interested. We really would like to see as many as possible participate. In addition, you will be given 5xp for your efforts, since it's requiring good costumes and scheduling.
