Worldwide Dungeons and Dragons Game Day! - June 7th, 2008

As you may or may not know, two things are happening this week.
On Friday, June 6th, 2008, Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition is officially released, with the release of the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, and the Monster Manual. All three books will be available at Tate's on Friday. Also available is the adventure for 4th edition, Keep on the Shadowfell, the first Heroic level adventure for levels 1-3. The adventure comes with pregenerated characters, although if you buy the books, you can make your own characters.
On Saturday, June 7th, 2008, Game Day will be held at Tate's Gaming Satellite from Noon until Closing. An adventure made specifically for Game Day, Into the Shadowhaunt, will be run in several sessions throughout the day, with pregenerated characters. All players will receive a d20 (while supplies last) , and possibly a miniature. Other activities will also be occuring, such as monster charades, and trivia contests (with both Classic and 4th edition questions). If enough players come, encounters from Keep on the Shadowfell will also be run, with player's choice of pregenerated characters from either adventure. RPGA (free!, with rewards for playing) forms will also be available.
I encourage everyone to come to this. Sean Z., myself, and I believe Brad will all be DMing these adventures throughout the day. I have been running Keep on the Shadowfell for a 6-person group, and so far the reaction to 4th edition has been positive. Also, in the future, RPGA events will be held at Tate's, with an open invitation to all, as RPGA is a free membership. Support Tate's and come out this weekend for DnD.
Any questions can be asked in this topic or by PM. (No spamming, please.)
